At Professional subscription level and above, Crystal CMS support two types of statistical data gathering for your website. First there is integrated statistics built into the secure control panel which can be viewed at any time you are logged in. Secondly Crystal CMS supports Google Analytics for external statistical data gathering. This section will concentrate on describing the integrated statistics built into Crystal CMS, but you can read more about our support for Google Analytics here.

Enabling statistics gathering for any page in your website is as simple as checking the 'Gather stats' check box in the content editor and clicking save. Once this is done, your web page will start logging information each time the page is loaded by one of your website visitors.

There are two views for statistical data gathered in Crystal CMS. The first is a high level statistcal overview for all pages that have gather stats switched on. The second is a detailed statistical view for a specific webpage.
