Customizable browser icon (favicon) support added

All Crystal CMS websites can now have a custom icon image assigned for display in the browser address bar / favourites / web page tab. Favicons are supported by most modern web browsers including Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox.
If you are currently reading this web page with an up to date browser, you will see our Crystal CMS favicon in the address bar at the top of this browser window.

Highly granular web page control mechanism introduced

All web pages created and maintained in all Crystal CMS websites now benefit from highly granular control mechanism. Specifically it is now possible to control all of the following attributes for individual web pages:
  • The online / offline state of individual web pages in the public website
  • The menu item visibility for individual web pages in the public website navigation system
  • Individual web page sitemap inclusion / exclusion
  • Individual web page sitemap priority relative to other pages in the sitemap
  • Individual web page last modified date publication in the public website
New search engine friendly xml sitemap functionality introduced!

All Crystal CMS websites now benefit from an completely automated SEO friendly xml sitemap. This makes it easier for search engine spiders to find all of your web pages when your website is new and not yet well known. More information is available here.
New website author management functionality introduced!
