In general terms Crystal CMS allows you to build three types of menu system for your website. Your website can have any combination of Top menu, Left menu and Bottom menu. This current website uses all three of these menu types; as you can see there are menu items to the top, left and bottom of this page. However the layout of Crystal CMS websites is dynamic which means that you can choose to have any combination of these menu types and the rendered display of your website will change accordingly maximizing the available space for content.
The same applies to the right column that is normally populated with rotating content (available at Professional subscription and above). If there are no rotators configured for your website then the space that would be occupied by the right column is reclaimed for use by content.
To the left shows some of the possible layout configurations of a Crystal CMS website based on the types of menus and rotators that are created by you in the control panel.
As you can see the available area for your webpage content automatically adjusts according to how your menus are created.
You can play with this website layout now using the toys provided here.
