When using Crystal CMS to create and maintain your website, you do so via our secure control panel. Below is a screenshot showing what the logon screen looks like. There are a few details to note here:
- We protect access to the control panel using a secure RapidSSL (secure socket layer) certificate that is recognized by 99% of all browsers and provides 128 / 256 bit encryption. Read more about our SSL here.
- When you sign up to use Crystal CMS you will be emailed by the system to notify you that a new user account and empty web site has been created for you. This email will contain the URL of the Crystal CMS control panel that you can immediately visit and start creating and maintaining your website. If you need to bookmark the location of the control panel in your browser, or some other bookmarking service you can use our easy bookmarking widget to do this. - If in the future you or one of your website authors forgets their control panel logon password, they can use the Reset Password option. Read more about password resetting in detail here.
